JOHN COOPER CLARKE (23rd June) POET; MOVIE STAR; ROCK STAR; TV & RADIO PRESENTER; COMEDIAN; SOCIAL AND CULTURAL COMMENTATOR! Britain’s best loved and most important performance poet. John is as vital now as he was in the 70s; His biting, satirical, political and very funny verse, delivered in a unique rapid-fire performance style, resonated with the punk movement. JCC toured with all the seminal bands; The Sex Pistols, The Clash & Buzzcocks, and in the USA with Elvis Costello - he began to draw large crowds in his own right. Joy Division were proud to frequently support JCC and New Order later opened for him on their first Australian tour. The punk revival has seen a whole new generation clamouring over John’s work and saw his star rocket once again. Continuing to write new work from his Essex home, he has a plethora of new poems and monologues which he performs solo, alongside his best known works such as Beasley Street and Evidently Chickentown. His shows are always packed and his audience always leave ecstatic.

But don't worry. as this all-new show follows the phenomenal success of his critically-acclaimed UK Tour, Dave Gorman's Powerpoint Presentation, which included a sold-out 5-night run at London's Southbank Centre, we think you're in pretty safe (and funny) hands. You won't need to take notes and you almost certainly won't be tested on it later.

HENNING WEHN - (22nd February SOLD OUT!) After more than a decade in Britain, the German Comedy Ambassador has 'groan' to like puns.... though he still couldn't eat a whole one. As Henning's assimilation is not yet complete he hasn't lost his sense of Westphalian wonderment at the foibles of British society. Expect an evening-long crash course in personal accountability and have a right old laugh at the same time! Wunderbar.
STEPHEN K AMOS (29th January) Welcome To My World. The maestro of feel-good comedy is back on tour with his new show. Fresh from sell-out tours of Australia and New Zealand, as heard on BBC Radio 4 Life: An Idiot’s Guide and What Does the K Stand For?
JOHN SHUTTLEWORTH (26th February) Versatile singer/organist, John Shuttleworth, wants to share fond memories of his favourite past weekends. However, a typo on the poster ("weekend" has become "wee Ken") means John is obliged to spend the evening paying homage to his next-door neighbour and sole agent - the diminutive Ken Worthington.
COUNT ARTHUR STRONG (12th February) Back with his new tour - "Somebody Up There Licks Me!" in his new show, Count Arthur Strong will be doing all sorts of wonderful things for you to sit there staring at as you quietly suck your Maltesers and don’t get up to go to the toilet, applauding loudly at the appropriate moments. JETHRO (14th February SOLD OUT!) Every once in a while there comes along a true comedy genius, someone who rapidly gains cult status with the British public. Such is the case with Jethro! Armed with nothing more than a microphone and delivered to you in a warm Cornish accent, Jethro has the rare ability to paint hilarious pictures in the mind of his audience.

Andy’s fifth show ‘Live And Unleashed - But Naturally Cautious‘ will see the star of BBC2’s ‘Mock The Week’ and ‘Live At At The Apollo’ hit the road again delivering more sharp comedy up and down the UK.

RICHARD DIGANCE (14th May) - Many people sing, play guitar and tell stories but not many have supported Steve Martin, Robin Williams or played a guitar duet with Brian May of Queen, Richard Digance has, and he's still doing it! Richard Digance, described by Bob Harris as a National Treasure, recently enjoyed his 40th year of touring and he continues to maintain his unique position in entertainment as a top singer, comedian and poet. His new one-man show features new songs from his latest album Old School Photograph and poems from his new book, "My Words".
JOE PASQUALE (29th August) - Yes, Joe’s back! This time he's leaner, meaner, he's a vacuum cleaner! Last year Joe and his twin brother Raynard opened a chip shop with the Dalai Lama in Skegness, called Batter Me, I'm Yours! But due to an accident with a pickled egg the Lama pulled out and opened a rival chip shop called the Dalai's Deep Sea Sausage, which resulted in a surf and turf war, it was savaloys at 40 paces.... If you want to know more come and see this show, it'll blow your mind, well at least your chips!
