COMEDIANS ON THEIR WAY!!!

Jack Dee

Loads of brilliant comedians are coming our way and tickets are now on sale for:

JACK DEE (17th March -Last few tickets on sale now!) Got a problem? Need a sympathetic ear? Jack and his panel of experts are here to help. Whether it’s relationships, career advice, personal worries or something as simple as how to tell your emotionally stunted in-laws you no longer want them in your life. Come along and share your troubles with Jack – and in no way have them ridiculed in front of a live audience.

JOHN COOPER CLARKE (23rd June) POET; MOVIE STAR; ROCK STAR; TV & RADIO PRESENTER; COMEDIAN; SOCIAL AND CULTURAL COMMENTATOR!  Britain’s best loved and most important performance poet. John is as vital now as he was in the 70s; His biting, satirical, political and very funny verse, delivered in a unique rapid-fire performance style, resonated with the punk movement. JCC toured with all the seminal bands; The Sex Pistols, The Clash & Buzzcocks, and in the USA with Elvis Costello - he began to draw large crowds in his own right. Joy Division were proud to frequently support JCC and New Order later opened for him on their first Australian tour. The punk revival has seen a whole new generation clamouring over John’s work and saw his star rocket once again. Continuing to write new work from his Essex home, he has a plethora of new poems and monologues which he performs solo, alongside his best known works such as Beasley Street and Evidently Chickentown. His shows are always packed and his audience always leave ecstatic.

DAVE GORMAN "Gets Straight To The Point* (*The PowerPoint)" - (5th November)  (Tour Extension Date)  The wonderfully innovative comedy mind behind Modern Life Is Goodish (Dave TV), Are You Dave Gorman? and Googlewhack Adventure is back with a brand new live show that promises more of his unique blend of stand-up comedy and visual story-telling as Dave Gorman Gets Straight To The Point*... (*The PowerPoint).  Yes. That's right. It's a PowerPoint presentation. We know what you're thinking. But don't worry. as this all-new show follows the phenomenal success of his critically-acclaimed UK Tour, Dave Gorman's Powerpoint Presentation, which included a sold-out 5-night run at London's Southbank Centre, we think you're in pretty safe (and funny) hands. You won't need to take notes and you almost certainly won't be tested on it later.

GERVASE PHINN (29th March) - An Evening with Gervase Phinn.  Gervase Phinn has been touring theatres across the country for over 10 years now as a hilarious raconteur. The best selling and award winning author, Radio and TV personality, really is at his best and most exciting in front of a live audience. An Evening with Gervase Phinn will have you on the edges of your seats, as he shares his hilarious and sometimes poignant tales of life as a schools inspector in the Yorkshire Dales. Dubbed “the James Herriot of schools”. With his keen ear for the absurd and sharp eye for the ludicrous, Gervase Phinn has delighted audiences all over the UK with stories of his experiences as a school inspector. His shows have received rave reviews all across the country.

AL MURRAY (5th February SOLD OUT!) JOHN SHUTTLEWORTH (26th February) Versatile singer/organist, John Shuttleworth, wants to share fond memories of his favourite past weekends. COUNT ARTHUR STRONG (12th February) Back with his new tour - "Somebody Up There Licks Me!" in his new show, Count Arthur Strong will be doing all sorts of wonderful things for you to sit there staring at as you quietly suck your Maltesers and don’t get up to go to the toilet, applauding loudly at the appropriate moments. JOE PASQUALE (29th August) - Yes, Joe’s back! This time he's leaner, meaner, he's a vacuum cleaner! Last year Joe and his twin brother Raynard opened a chip shop with the Dalai Lama in Skegness, called Batter Me, I'm Yours!
