Jeremy Hardy 2015

Loads of brilliant comedians are coming our way and tickets are now on sale for:

JEREMY HARDY (14th November) - Jeremy Hardy begins his 4th decade as a stand-up this year. That’s a more dramatic way of saying he started 31 years ago and, without a lottery win, probably has at least another 31 years to go. Last year, the tenth series of "Jeremy Hardy Speaks to the Nation" was broadcast on Radio 4. He is also well known for his appearances on The News Quiz and I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue. Indeed, Alan Bennett recently said he likes him “but he’s only on the radio”.  However, Jeremy isn’t only on the radio. He is on the road all year round and has never stopped doing live shows since 1984. After briefly hibernating in the winter, he's back out on the road in 2015.

ED BYRNE - "Outside Looking In" - with 7th December show sold out (apart from a few single seats) - we are absolutely thrilled that Ed has included the Tivoli in the extended tour dates, with another chance to see this show on 15TH JANUARY!

JOSH WIDDICOMBE - (10th September SOLD OUT!) Josh Widdicombe, that guy from the TV comedy shows with the curly hair, is back on the road with a brand new tour, "What Do I Do Now....?"

BLOWERS & BAXTER "Rogues on the Road" Tour. (4th October).  Fresh from touring Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia and even more far flung corners of the world, Blowers and Backers are back with Rogues on the Road - a brand new show crammed full of even more wonderful (and occasionally outrageous) reminiscences and anecdotes from two extensive careers spent broadcasting around the globe. Bastions of the beloved Test Match Special with over 80 years in the commentary box and touring the world with the programme between them, Henry and Peter have some tales to tell. And the fun, the games and outlandish characters, from Ian Fleming to Noel Coward, spread well beyond the confines of any cricket ground or studio. Between them they’ve seen plenty of shenanigans across the years and across the globe, so come ready to be shocked and entertained by good men behaving badly.

KEVIN BRIDGES 7th September (SOLD OUT!) - Kevin Bridges returns to the road with his biggest tour to date A Whole Different Story… (Age 14+)  Maximum 4 tickets per customer.

DAVE GORMAN "Gets Straight To The Point* (*The PowerPoint)" - (5th November)  (Tour Extension Date)  The wonderfully innovative comedy mind behind Modern Life Is Goodish (Dave TV), Are You Dave Gorman? and Googlewhack Adventure is back with a brand new live show that promises more of his unique blend of stand-up comedy and visual story-telling as Dave Gorman Gets Straight To The Point*... (*The PowerPoint).  Yes. That's right. It's a PowerPoint presentation. We know what you're thinking. But don't worry. as this all-new show follows the phenomenal success of his critically-acclaimed UK Tour, Dave Gorman's Powerpoint Presentation, which included a sold-out 5-night run at London's Southbank Centre, we think you're in pretty safe (and funny) hands. You won't need to take notes and you almost certainly won't be tested on it later.

ED BYRNE (7th December- single seats only left) We are thrilled to welcome to the Tivoli, for the very first time - ED BYRNE with his latest comedy tour show "Outside, Looking In". Tickets still available for 16th January show!

JIM DAVIDSON (18th November) The people’s favourite and one of Britain’s greatest ever comedians, JIM DAVIDSON OBE telling it ‘like it is’. The antidote to this PC world we now live in. Don't worry, it will be outrageous and as truthful as ever! Suitable for ages 18+

JOE PASQUALE (29th August) - Yes, Joe’s back! This time he's leaner, meaner, he's a vacuum cleaner! Last year Joe and his twin brother Raynard opened a chip shop with the Dalai Lama in Skegness, called Batter Me, I'm Yours! But due to an accident with a pickled egg the Lama pulled out and opened a rival chip shop called the Dalai's Deep Sea Sausage, which resulted in a surf and turf war, it was savaloys at 40 paces.... If you want to know more come and see this show, it'll blow your mind, well at least your chips!

CHRIS RAMSEY (1st October) All Growed Up Tour. Critically acclaimed stand-up comedian, Celebrity Juice regular, star of BBC2’s Hebburn, and the man who once got pizza delivered to a moving train embarks on his biggest stand-up tour yet! Join Chris as he explores getting older, finding yourself, taking responsibility, realising you are no longer a child and all of the other terrifying realisations that come with being dragged kicking and screaming into modern adulthood.

STEPHEN K AMOS (11th February) The Laughter Master. The maestro of feel-good comedy is back on tour with his new show. Fresh from touring UK and Australia. Star of Life: An Idiot’s Guide and What Does the K Stand For? (Radio 4).

MILTON JONES (21st October) SOLD OUT! Yes him with the loud shirts and messed up hair from Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow and multiple series on Radio 4.
This new show is a side-splitting tale of a madcap journey as Milton follows in the footsteps of his great-uncle (who er… looks suspiciously like Milton). Unlike previous shows it’s a story, but there are still lots and lots of ridiculous gags as well as the trademark multi-coloured shirts and big hair.   Expect playful props, silly sound effects and  lashings of laughs.
